Yellow Star

Jennifer Roy's work Yellow Star, is a heavy, deep account of Syvia, a Jewish girl in a Polish ghetto during World War Two. Written in a poetic style, it tells the true story of Syvia in a way that fourth through sixth graders can relate to.
